Query planning and land use at a point

Locate an area and read matching polygons from the integrated layers together. The record retains their codes, attributes, sources and dates; unknown values remain unreported.

  1. Open the viewer and choose the planning query.
  2. Mark a point on the map or query its center. Pan the map to inspect another area.
  3. Compare findings by layer and open their sources. A layer with no matches, awaiting integration or unavailable does not establish an absence of rules.

This is a mapping query by location, not an address search or a legal report. It confirms neither legal validity, permits nor authorized activities; cross-check applicable documents and administrative acts.

Find and identify an area

Open the POT example and select “Query map center” to inspect OBJECTID 64434 under Rural zoning. Read original observations; do not add overlapping areas. IGAC national cadastre returned zero urban and rural records for Quebradanegra on 2026-10-11. Parcel queries and NPN search are not enabled; this result establishes neither an actual absence of parcels nor the absence of another municipal source. Address search does not identify parcels. PlanetScope 2024 pixels were verified at municipal sample locations: 3 m satellite imagery under CC BY 4.0, not aerial orthophotography. Samples do not certify complete coverage, cloud-free imagery or current conditions. Select Orthoimage to view local imagery above PlanetScope; hide it using the Local imagery button. 25592 identifies Quebradanegra, Cundinamarca. The complete IGAC municipal boundary was retrieved on 2026-10-11 without simplification under CC BY 4.0; source EPSG:9377, response EPSG:4326. The source advises against exact point positioning and area or distance calculations using this boundary; no scale or cartographic date is inferred. The IGAC register lists: EOT2000, Agreement 10 (2000-06-07), status current, long-term validity expired. Declared register update: 2025-12-15. The official activity areas query returned zero records on 2026-10-11; this does not establish absence of municipal rules. 9 complete records of rural zoning with original EPSG:4326 coordinates. 1 original record lacks main use. 1 original record lacks rural category. IGAC reports adjusting vectors because the instrument boundary differs from the reference municipal boundary; GeoSAT retains the published geometry unchanged. The integrated query covers rural zoning only. The source-reported adjustment of vectors to the IGAC boundary is retained; GeoSAT does not modify those geometries. Compatible, conditional and prohibited uses reported by the source are retained; an empty field means neither allowed nor prohibited. Register statuses neither certify current legal validity nor assign acts to each polygon. IGAC national cadastre returned zero urban and rural records for Quebradanegra on 2026-10-11. Parcel queries and NPN search are not enabled; this result establishes neither an actual absence of parcels nor the absence of another municipal source.

The legend distinguishes municipalities; filter cod_dane_mpio with 25592 to query Quebradanegra polygons received in that area. This rural reference complements the land-use plan without replacing its permitted uses or identifying suitability for a crop.

Indicative reference at 1:100,000 scale, version 4.1 according to the service; not crop suitability, land-use permission or a parcel assessment. SIPRA warns against use for financial, credit or parcel-planning decisions. The methodology aggregates patches larger than 25 ha within 100 m and fills holes smaller than 25 ha. The viewer also generalizes geometry by zoom and rounds coordinates; do not measure areas or settle boundaries with it. Queried polygons may include neighboring municipalities and are not a complete municipal inventory. Empty results do not establish absence of restrictions. Department names and codes remain as published, without validating administrative hierarchy; municipal codes do not identify parcels. Municipal multidimensional poverty incidence published by DANE from the 2018 National Population and Housing Census. This is a census approximation: five dimensions and 15 deprivation indicators defined at household level, with a weighted threshold of 33.3%. The source refers to actually censused private households and recommends considering census omission. The published percentage is retained without inferring numbers of people or households or recalculating denominators. It is neither current poverty nor an annual series comparable with the Quality of Life Survey IPM or Medellín’s local series. Do not sum or average municipalities to obtain department or national incidence.
