Privacy Policy

Geografía Satelital GEOSAT S.A.S (NIT 8110065254), based in Medellín, Colombia, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide.

Data we collect

Through our contact form we collect your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, sector of interest and project description. When a request comes from a sector landing page, we may also receive the service cluster, landing path, source type, project stage and a qualification score from 0 to 10.

Session attribution

Landing attribution is kept only in sessionStorage for the duration of the browser session. We do not use it to submit a request automatically, and it is not transmitted to GeoSAT until you submit the form.

Tools and files

Tools process visitor files locally in your browser. GeoSAT does not receive the file, geometry or results during normal use. A bounded tool summary is included with a request only when you explicitly select the authorisation checkbox and submit the form.

Purpose

We use the collected data only to respond to consulting requests, prepare quotations and follow up on potential projects.

Legal basis

Personal data is processed under Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.

Your rights

You may access, update, correct or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, write to info@geosat.com.co.

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

Usage analytics

In production we use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4 to understand site navigation, identify experience issues and measure content performance. These services may process browser technical information and interaction events under their own policies. We do not send locally processed files, geometries or validator results to these tools.

Service providers and third parties

We do not sell or rent personal data. We use Resend to deliver requests by email, Microsoft Clarity for experience analytics and Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement. We disclose only the data needed to provide these services or when required by a competent authority.
