Cadastral mapping in Medellín

Inspect urban and rural blocks, land footprints and buildings in small viewports, without parcel identifiers or owner information.

Geometries are for reference and do not certify legal boundaries. Construction features represent floor levels or improvements and can overlap: record counts are not unique building counts. The source does not declare an update date. Market prices are not shown and valuation zones are not interpreted as sale prices.

How to use it

How to use the map

  1. Open the viewer with this theme’s first layer enabled. Search a neighborhood or enter coordinates as latitude, longitude.
  2. Enable other layers in the theme and zoom in. Detailed cadastral layers require a close scale to keep queries bounded.
  3. Select a feature on the map or in the Results list. Check its attributes, retrieval time and any partial-result notice.
  4. Choose a field and exact value to filter the layer. Export includes only received results, with attribution and dates; it does not download the whole municipality.

Sources, dates and limits

Each source’s verification date appears in the table. Retrieval time is not the data update date. Small city-wide layers use the full extent; larger layers depend on the visible area. Reference publications retain their original retrieval date. Each response contains up to 500 features and 2 MB. Reference publications load matching pages, up to 5,000 features and 8 MB per query. External services may return partial samples, identified in the viewer.
