How to use the map of Guatapé
Local aerial orthophoto of Guatapé, Antioquia, and the complete IGAC municipal boundary. Inspect capture, source and municipal-seat scope; this is neither parcel mapping nor POT zoning.

Locate an area and understand its identifiers
Open the aerial-imagery link at the verified interior point. Enable the municipal boundary to inspect its original code, name and category. Compare capture, publication and footprint separately; photography establishes neither current conditions, ownership nor allowed land uses.
DIVIPOLA 05321, Antioquia (05). Only local imagery and the reference municipal boundary are qualified. POT, cadastre, statistics and agricultural frontier are not enabled without verified sources. The catalog footprint is neither a pixel mask nor complete municipal coverage.
Use Explore to search and choose queries, Layers to enable and inspect sources, and Thematic maps to compare categories. Under Layers, “Tools and planning register” opens Tools; “Inspect and export results” opens received attributes and results.
In Tools, “Reported planning instruments” lets you inspect municipal acts and their statuses in the national register. Select “Look up national register” to load this city’s records. Instrument status and long-term validity are separate fields; the register may be outdated and does not certify parcel rules. Links open the IGAC source, ColombiaOT and the source linked for this municipality; they do not open an act PDF directly.
Your first query
Municipal boundary near the imagery · latitude, longitude: 6.23514, -75.15248
- Open prepared aerial imagery at zoom 18 at the verified interior point. Only the local raster is shown; an area without pixels establishes neither an absence of land nor mapping.
- Enable the municipal boundary and select its complete geometry to inspect original name, code and category. Photography and boundary have separate sources and dates.
- Read capture, publication, declared resolution and its discrepancies under Sources. A 32 m sample verifies neither the whole footprint, parcel precision, allowed land uses nor current conditions.

Interpret results before sharing
- Read each layer and record’s source and date. Retrieval time shows when the response was received; it does not establish a data update or legal validity.
- Check statuses: an unavailable source or a query without results does not establish that no conditions apply. If a partial-result notice appears, zoom in and repeat the query within a smaller area.
- Filters, thematic maps and statistics describe received records. Do not add overlapping polygons or turn a partial count into a city total.
- Share the public view or export results with their source and date. Measurements are approximate; imported files remain in your browser and are excluded from shared links.
Sources, dates and limits
Each source’s verification date appears in the table. Retrieval time is not the data update date. Small city-wide layers use the full extent; larger layers depend on the visible area. Reference publications retain their original retrieval date. Each page contains up to 500 features: up to 2 MiB for external services and 4 MiB for local publications. Reference publications load matching pages, up to 5,000 features and 8 MiB per query. External services may return partial samples, identified in the viewer.

| Complete municipal boundary · IGACInstituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi · Administrative divisions Original municipal boundary published by IGAC, retained in full without further rounding. Cartographic date not declared. The territorial code is not a parcel identifier and the boundary legal reference is not a POT act.
